The Governors of Runcorn All Saints CE Primary School are seeking to appoint an ambitious, inspirational and highly skilled Deputy Head to work closely with our newly appointed Headteacher from January 2022 (Or sooner by arrangement). This is an exciting opportunity to join a leadership at the start of an exciting journey and help lead the school into the next stage of development.

As a successful candidate, you will be an inspirational and outstanding individual with an ‘ I can approach’ who is passionate about developing, delivering and articulating the vision, values and ethos of the school and who will empower others to share in achieving it.  The successful candidate should be a highly organised, outstanding classroom practitioner, preferably with experience of teaching a variety of age ranges and of mixed-age classes.

They should have a keen interest in educational practice and be able to lead by example in all areas of school life. The post will require a full time teaching commitment with some release time for management activity. Particular leadership strengths and skills in Maths, RE or Assessment may be an advantage.


As a leader within a church school, you will be able to articulate a clear philosophy for church education and be confident in providing spiritual leadership. Runcorn All Saints is on an ambitious and exciting journey with the growth and development of pupils and staff at the heart of what it does. It is deeply Christian and this is something that candidates should wish to live out in all areas of their work.


They should be able to deputise for the Headteacher when required and be confident in their capabilities to lead teaching, learning and staff development.
