If so, Murdishaw West Primary School has an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic individual to join our team!

We are looking for an experienced, skilled and flexible professional to join our friendly team.

Please note the working hours are 11am – 6pm

As well as working with small groups of children or 1-1 with pupils during lesson times, break times and supervision at lunchtimes, you will be responsible for the planning and delivery of fun afterschool activities and care.  Experience of working in Early Years would be desirable.

The successful applicant must have the following qualities:

- Have excellent interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with children, staff and parents.

- Be calm, caring and encouraging with our children so they feel safe and secure in your care.

- Use positive behaviour management strategies.

- Be flexible and committed to the school; working as part of a team to provide outstanding provision.

- Be prepared to learn and develop their own skills and understanding of the full Primary School Curriculum.

- Hold at least a level 2 teaching assistant qualification.
