Teaching Assistant

Full Time - Term Time Only - 12 month FTC 

Due to changes in staffing, the Governors are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and committed Teaching Assistant with ability to work across the primary age range. Applicants must be highly motivated and willing to work as part of a team. This post would suit a qualified and experienced TA, or a recently qualified teacher looking for experience in the classroom. Please see Job Summary.

The successful candidate will need to be a good classroom practitioner who is able to nurture, inspire and motivate children.  They must be able to work with the class teachers to drive standards and help children to reach their potential.  They will be able to work independently to provide support to small groups, deliver interventions under the supervision of the class teacher and show initiative in supporting learning and maintaining a productive learning environment.

This post would suit an experienced and suitably qualified TA (at least 12 months experience is desirable) or alternatively would suit a recently qualified teaching graduate who is looking for classroom experience before embarking upon their teaching career.
