Job Role: Deputy Headteacher

Salary: L 1 – 5  (£51,773 - £57,137)

Hours: Full-time

Reporting to: Headteacher

Responsible for: Teachers and support staff

 

The Children, Staff and Governing Board at Aspiring Foundations Federated Nursery Schools are looking to appoint an inspirational and experienced EYFS teacher to join our team. 

 

We are seeking a leader who:

  • Has in-depth knowledge of the EYFS
  • Has a successful track record of EYFS leadership and raising achievement for all children across the curriculum
  • Has high emotional intelligence and understands how to get the most out of a team
  • Has experience of supporting children of all abilities and an understands how to overcome barriers to learning
  • Has experience of adaptive teaching and ensuring the needs of all children are met, including those with SEND
  • Is resilient and able to meet the challenges of school leadership

 

Candidates should want to play a significant role in leading the Nursery Schools within the Federation with the capacity to drive school improvement, lead staff and have a clear, positive impact on children’s outcomes. It is expected that the successful candidate will be an outstanding classroom practitioner and will currently be working as an Early Years Leader based in either Nursery or Reception or hold a significant leadership position. 

Candidates who are qualified SENCos or have a strong background in SEND are particularly welcome.
