MIDDAY ASSISTANT

Hours Monday to Friday (6.25 hours)

Grade 3 Point 4-5

Actual annual salary £3,565.46

Ditton Primary is looking to appoint a midday assistant.

Ditton Primary is a welcoming school that has high expectations for both its staff and students.  You will be employed to support our children in the dining hall and on the playground during lunchtimes for 1hr 15 mins per day (total of (6.5 hours per week) term time only.  Exact timings will be dependent upon the key stage worked.

You will be expected to undertake any necessary training to support you within this role, ie safeguarding and first aid training.

Previous experience is not necessary, although applicants should be caring and sensitive to the needs of all children.

 General duties include:

• Supervising pupils in the dining hall
• Supervising play activities
