1:1 Classroom Assistant - 12.5 hours

Our school is looking for a teaching assistant - with a passion for supporting children - to work under the guidance of the class teacher and SENDCo and build positive relationships with a child; with the aim of supporting them to access mainstream lessons.
We are looking for somebody who has the ability to:
- Motivate and engage children in their learning
- Support children to believe in themselves and develop a growth mindset
- Raise standards of learners using a range of teaching strategies, in line with the school’s policies and procedures.
- Work under the guidance of the class teacher and SENDCo in the planning and implementation of programmes of support for their needs
- Support the class teacher and SENDCo to ensure high standards and consistency.
The successful candidates will have experience of working with and effectively supporting pupils
