Ashley High School are looking for an enthusiastic and innovative teacher to join our outstanding team. We are seeking a primary trained or special education specialist teacher with experience of Autism/social communication and SEMH. The successful candidate will have the ability to form positive relationships and adapt to the needs of the pupils.
You will be responsible for planning and delivering across all subjects as required. Differentiation and individualised learning strategies are vital skills required to meet the needs of all our pupils who will have had varying degrees of success in their educational lives. Additionally, you may also be required to coordinate a specific subject area where necessary, ensuring that curriculum planning and delivery meet the needs of all students.
You will be tasked with creating exciting and inventive curriculums, aiming to utilise all of your resources and looking far beyond the confines of a classroom. This truly is an amazing opportunity to develop subjects with learning and engagement at the core of everything you do.
The ideal candidate will successfully set a vision and targets for pupil success and be confident in using their knowledge and expertise to monitor progress, give regular feedback and encourage our young people to take a responsible and conscientious attitude to their own work and study.
