X2 SEND Teaching Assistants

St Basil’s Catholic Primary School has vacancies for 2 enthusiastic and experienced SEND Teaching Assistants working in our Resource Base. The Governors wish to appoint 2 highly effective Teaching Assistants to support in our Resource Base. The successful candidates should be able to work within a team of teachers and other learning assistants, be flexible and willing to learn new skills to help support the pupils with complex needs in their care.

Duties will include the following:
· Supporting pupils within classes
· Supporting teaching staff in terms of administration and display work, including record keeping
· Supervision of pupils and promotion of good behaviour
· Establishing positive relationships with parents/carers

• Must be willing to undertake intimate care

Previous experience of working in a school resource base would be a distinct advantage.
