TEACHING ASSISTANT – ASC RESOURCE PROVISION

Salary: £27,274 per annum, pro rata (Grade 4 SCP 7) plus SEN payment
Contract: Fixed Term 12 Sep 27  | Term Time Only
Start Date: December 2026

Kingsway Primary Academy is seeking a caring, enthusiastic and dedicated Teaching Assistant to join our growing ASC Resource Provision. This is an exciting opportunity to work within a specialist setting whilst remaining part of a thriving and inclusive mainstream primary school community.

About the Role

• Support pupils with ASC on a one-to-one basis and in small groups.
• Deliver personalised learning and communication support in line with EHCP outcomes.
• Help create a calm, structured and engaging learning environment.
• Promote independence, confidence and emotional regulation.
• Contribute to monitoring pupil progress and supporting annual reviews.
• Work closely with families, teachers and external professionals.

We Are Looking For Someone Who

• Holds a Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification.
• Has experience working with children with Autism and/or SEND.
• Builds positive relationships with children, families and colleagues.
