Classroom Support Assistant

20 hours per week Monday to Friday 8.30am-12.30pm, Term Time Only

NJC1 £25,949 per annum FTE (pay award pending)

Temporary until 31 August 2027. Required to start as soon as possible.

The Governing Body would like to recruit a temporary  Classroom Support Assistant to join our school.  Our priority is to find a patient, inspirational and creative person to support in Key Stage 2. 

The Successful Applicant will:

  • - Have high expectations of all pupils and a strong commitment to supporting continuous school improvement.
  • - Have essential experience of working with Year 6 pupils and a strong understanding of the specific needs, expectations and challenges of children in their final year of primary school.
  • - Be confident and experienced in supporting Year 6 pupils in their learning, progress and preparation for the transition to secondary school.
  • - Have a clear understanding of the role of a Classroom Assistant and the ability to work effectively as part of a dedicated team.
  • - Be passionate about supporting children’s learning and development, and be able to model and promote high standards of classroom practice.
  • - Be committed to supporting and promoting the school’s strong Catholic ethos and values.
